This enhancement aims to improve the user experience significantly, streamlining the process of evaluating fare options. Additionally, this development expands PROS' portfolio of products and applications catering to loyalty and budget-conscious audiences.

New Fare Endpoints: These endpoints are designed for comparing fares based on travel classes and cash versus loyalty fares. They will be used by airModules and airTRFX to create modules that empower users to compare prices conveniently in a single view.
Mock Data Service: This MVP service replaces the existing Dummy Data Service by leveraging airline settings in the Portal and airTRFX Control (aTC) to optimize data generation. It can be enabled or disabled without requiring development effort.
Releases
Blocked Locations: Users can now exclude specific routes, origin or destination airport codes, or entire locations from the API response, ensuring accurate and relevant fare data.
City vs. Airport Hierarchy: This feature allows users to choose whether cities should be treated as airports in the API response, providing more granular control over fare display, respecting the hierarchy of city-to-airport relationships.
Loyalty Fares Formatting: Improvements have been made to the formatting of loyalty fares, ensuring consistency and clarity in the API output.
Price Buckets Calculation: The histogram endpoint now calculates price buckets more effectively using a bell-curve approach, enhancing the functionality and usability of fare APIs.
These enhancements will significantly improve the user experience by providing streamlined and efficient ways to evaluate fare options.
